Storage & Cleaning
To keep your jewelry beautiful for a long time:
- When not wearing it, store your jewelry in its box or in a resealable plastic bag.
- Keep pieces in a cool, dry place (avoid bathrooms) and separate from other jewelry. Storing them loosely may cause scratches or chips on enamel and metal.
- If you have a Weilan jewelry box, use it. For long-term storage, use a sealed plastic bag to slow down oxidation.
Silver does not rust, but can naturally darken (silver sulfide).
Bronze develops patina over time, which some like—but you can keep it shiny with regular polishing.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat exposure.
Clean your jewelry with a soft cloth or polishing cloth (available in our shop). Regular gentle cleaning helps maintain its shine.
Cleaning methods:
- Use toothpaste without micro-particles on a soft toothbrush, rinse with warm (not hot) water.
- Wash with mild soapy water.
- For silver: line a small bowl with aluminum foil, add a spoon of baking soda, place jewelry inside, pour hot water, wait 2 minutes, then rinse well.
- Always dry thoroughly with soft paper or cloth before storing.
Use & Care
- Do not wear while bathing, showering, swimming, in the sauna, or during sports. Chlorine, saltwater, and minerals can damage shine and finishes.
- Do not wear while cleaning with strong detergents or chemicals.
- Remove jewelry before bed. Sleeping with it may cause enamel cracking, broken clasps, or even choking risk from necklaces.
- Avoid spraying perfume, hairspray, or cosmetics directly onto jewelry. Put jewelry on last, after products have absorbed.
- Avoid dropping or hitting it against hard surfaces.
- Do not wear enamel rings next to other rings—they may scratch each other.
- Not recommended for children under 6; do not give jewelry as a toy.
